Meeting with the Minister of Electricity of Northern Iraq

Timsan Transformer Company, which makes a significant export to Northern Iraq, made a business trip to Iraq on August 24-29. On this trip, Timsan officials had the opportunity to meet with the Minister of Electricity of Northern Iraq Region. Mr. Minister was informed about our factory and presented brochures.

According to the information provided by the Ministry, big investments have been made in the region's electricity generation and distribution and it have been mentioned that energy is vital for the development of the region. He mentioned that he expects investments in terms of products and technology from Turkey, as the closest country  to the region in energy production and distribution. He also expressed that development of the region will contribute to Turkey's stability.

After the meeting with the minister of electricity with Timsan's authorized dealer in Northern Iraq,Electricity companies in the region were visited. We have gladly observed that the transformers we manufacture for Northern Iraq are very efficient and serve electricity distribution without problems.

During this trip, we had the opportunity to conduct fieldwork on what steps should be taken in order to achieve the desired level of exports to the south of Iraq.
